🎨 ARMY PAINTER CRYSTALLINE PAINTING GUIDE

Step 1: Base & Zenithal Prime
For a glowing effect, start with a Black undercoat, then spray Grey and White from above. This creates a natural value map for translucent paints.

Step 2: Translucent Colour Layers

• Body & Scales: Use Army Painter "Speedpaint" or thinned "Warcolour Translucent" paints. Try "Zealot Yellow", "Cruelty Free Red", or "Highlord Blue" over the zenithal base. The pre-shading will show through, creating depth.
